Bed Bugs Pest Control

Bed bugs are becoming increasingly common and widespread, it is thought that increased international travel is largely responsible for this as they are known to travel on luggage but can be introduced to homes on second hand furnishings or other possessions. The adult bed bug resembles a small disc approximately 5- 6mm in length. It is a wingless insect but very adept at crawling on and up most surfaces hiding in cracks and crevices near to their human hosts. They are to be found in beds and surrounding furniture, loose wall coverings, behind skirting boards, pictures, electrical sockets etc. They are mainly active at night when they feed on human blood but can survive for a period of up to a year without feeding.
